A weekly reset isn’t about becoming a robot. It’s about giving Future You a smoother week with fewer “where’s my charger?!” moments. If you can spend 45–90 minutes on Sunday to plan, tidy, and set gentle goals for yourself so school, friends, hobbies, and the rest can all fit and ease any mid-week stresses 😌
The Flow (about 60–90 minutes)
1) Clear the Deck (10 min)
* Put your phone on DND.
* Quick room reset: throw away trash, put clothes in hamper, clear desk.
* Water bottle refill. Music on.
2) Reflection Time: Look Back and Learn (5 min)
* What went well last week? (1–2 wins)
* What jammed you up? (1 thing to fix)
3) Choose Your “Big 3” (10 min)
Pick three "rocks" you want to have done by next Sunday. Keep them specific and small enough to finish, with clear timescales.
Example: “Finish history outline,” “Apply to one part-time job,” “Run 3 times.”
4) Map the Week (15–20 min)
Open your calendar/planner:
* Add fixed stuff: classes, shifts, practice, appointments.
* Block focus windows (60–90 min) for your Big 3.
* Add buffer blocks (30 min) for commute/transition.
* Pick one recharge slot each day (walk, draw, read, chill).
* Set bedtime alarms and “Screen Sunset” reminders. (Check out our post on a Screen Sunset plan, if you've not already got one in place).
5) Task Sweep (10–15 min)
* Brain dump everything in your head.
* Sort into three lists: Must, Should, Could.
* For each Must, write the Tiny Next Step (2–10 min action).
* e.g., “Open Google Doc,” “Text coach,” “Print worksheet.”
6) Life Admin (10–15 min)
* Pack bag(s): chargers, notebooks, uniform/kit.
* Prep outfits for 2–3 days.
* Snack/meal basics ready (fruit, yogurt, bars, leftovers list - check they're in the cupboards at home or you've bought your own).
* Money check: balances, bus card, allowance, small cash.
* Refill meds/vitamins (if applicable).
* Reset tech: charge devices, clear 10 photos, update apps if needed.
7) Close with Calm (5–10 min)
* Do 2–4 rounds of **box breathing 4-4-4-4** or a short stretch.
* Pick tomorrow’s *one* priority.
* Lay phone in its charging spot away from bed.
Balance Check (60-second vibe test)
Rate 1–5 for the coming week; adjust your plan if any score is low.
* School/Work Progress
* Health (sleep, food, movement)
* Fun/Play
* People (friends/family/time with your favorite humans)
* Me-Time (quiet, hobbies, reset)
If one area ≤2, schedule one tiny action to lift it (10–20 minutes is enough).

Make It Stick
* Pair it with a cue: “After lunch on Sunday, I start my reset.”
* Keep it visible: print or pin the checklist to your wall/notes app.
* Keep it kind: if a week goes sideways, you didn’t fail—you intercept next Sunday.
* Protect balance: “If I add something new, I remove or shrink something old.”
You’ve got this. A calm Sunday hour of time spent can save you a chaotic week. 😌
